ABC Toolbox is a powerful tool that lets you integrate process maps with activity-based cost information. It creates a seamless integration between the graphics capabilities in Microsoft Visio and activity and process information in Activity Analyzer. The ABC Toolbox can be used as a stand-alone activity and process costing system or fully integrated with Activity Analyzer.
Using the ABC Toolbox with Visio, it's possible to draw process maps, create processes with activities linked to each process, assign resources, drivers, attributes, performance measures and root causes, calculate activity and process costs and print any of more than 75 standard reports.
The Toolbox consists of a Menu Bar of buttons that appear in the Visio window. Behind each button are various features and functions.
Since ABC Toolbox and Activity Analyzer share a common database, activity and process information created with the Toolbox can be viewed through Activity Analyzer. Activities created with the Toolbox can be assigned to cost objects using Activity Analyzer's powerful product costing functions.
